Grand Trianon Erdevik

Grand Trianon, a wine carefully nurtured by Erdevik Winery, is produced from hand-picked varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (35%) and Syrah (15%). These grapes originate from winery vineyards in Brestovik, located on the slopes of Fruska Gora, near the Danube River. On the label of this wine proudly stands the coat of arms of the Odaskalki family, which has an invaluable role in the tradition of viticulture of Fruška Gora. Grand Trianon is aged for a year in new barrique barrels of 225 liters, mostly French, but also slightly American and Slavonian, before maturing for a year in a bottle. This dark ruby red wine is full-bodied, strong and well balanced. The aromas of cherries and red berries dominate, which are enriched with spicy tones and pleasant acids. After that comes an extremely long, warm and layered finish, from which the aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, dates and carob rise... The recommended serving temperature is from 15 to 17°C. This wine goes well with red meats in dark chocolate and dark forest fruit sauces, ripe full-fat cheeses, game, traditional Serbian dishes and grilled dishes.
